For over 10 years I've frequented Mai's. And when I moved away I craved their shrimp-only spring rolls and vietnamese egg rolls in vermacilli oh-so-much. I've come to know and love the staff, so I'm completely biased and think they are all wonderful. But Tony is my favorite. It's been a while so I'm not sure if everyone is still there. the spring rolls are always dried out as though they have been made for a few hours (even though i do realize that rice paper gets dried out easily) therefore, i always get them without something, then i know they are fresH! always a good choice for the mid morning though... - bee , posted 04/06/06 |
