This Trade Sales Analyst ("TSA") will be responsible for working closely with a team of Global Trade & Supply Chain Solutions Sales Officers aligned with the Global Commercial Banking segment in the Central, Mountain and Pacific time zones.
TSA will conduct market, client and prospect rearch using a variety of internal and external research and MIS tools to aide Trade Business Development Officers in uncovering potential new trade revenue opportunities. In the process, TSA will create, help maintain and update a database of trade clients and prospects for proper GCB segment alignment and Trade Officer business development.
TSA will cultivate business development skills by proactively contacting a certain profile of prospective new ("Linked Vendor") clients weekly via telephone and describe our solutions for expediting their pending payments for which we earn new revenue. This frequently includes the TSA conducting a webex demo of BA Direct Trade Services over the telephone to demonstrate the ease with which prospective new clients could receive time sensitive LC's and payment information from their largest customers via BofA. TSA would often refer to Trade Officer for follow up and introduction to GCB client manager as a new lead.
Qualifications

Commercial Letter of Credit knowledge. Self starter. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; Detail oriented; Strong organizational skills; Strong people skills; Team player; Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; Excellent follow-up; Appetite to rapidly learn and grow. Potential to eventually become a Trade Sales Officer.
