Job Summary and MissionPerforms audits while following Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures and defined audit procedures and processes. Summary of Key Responsibilities Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:· Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures and basic understanding of audit procedures and processes · Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner. · Ability to participate with responsibility and maturity in a team environment and contribute to team audit goals. · Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions..
Qualifications
Summary of Experience and Education· College degree in Accounting, finance or similar curriculum · Sarbanes Oxley experience · Year or more experience with Internal or External Audit · Specialty in accounting or audit related fields Knowledge, Skills and Abilities · Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications. · Working knowledge of GAAP, and audit procedures · Read and interpret documents and write routine correspondence. · Gathers and analyzes information skillfully. Licenses and Certifications· CIA, CPA, or similar certification Travel· Ability to travel approximately 50% within the US and internationally.
